What a gem of a music school on the South Shore and centrally located in Quincy. As non-musical parents of a 6 year old, we wanted to place our son in an environment that would cultivate any passion and curiosity he may have in playing an instrument.

The instruction at EKS has been nothing short of phenomenal. The Faculty are all extremely qualified with some playing on the biggest stages and events in the world. It is my opinion that Ellyses has found instructors whose own passion and enthusiasm transfers to their students. After a trial lesson and a few short weeks my son was able to read sheet music and continues to make tremendous progression every week. Dr. Lee (who herself is very accomplished) focuses on all the facets of proper playing and technique.

As parents, we might be able to kick a ball, shoot a puck, or generally participate with our children. When you can’t do such things, you seek out the best. EKS has the caring, inspiring, professionals. Now my son has the confidence and pride to teach me a thing or two!

EKS is an awesome wonderful music school! My daughter takes piano lessons there and she enjoys it very much. Ms. Kuan is an excellent teacher, very patient, knowledgeable, caring, passionate and professional. After each lesson, you will receive direct feedback from the teacher to see how your kid did in the lesson and what needs to be worked on.
The school offers all different kinds of music lessons and also offers many opportunities for student to perform. They are connect with the Royal Conservatory of Music Assessment Program. They have studio performance classes every month and teacher will give students comment of what they need to work on more. There are 2 recitals every year, one in the winter and one toward the end of the school year. They are also doing the Spring Practice Challenge that encourage students to practice more. It’s an excellent school and I highly recommend this music school to everyone.
