Mt. Olivet Junior Academy is a small private christian school where my children have thrived and excelled academically, socially, mentally and spiritually. The education received here as helped them to function, on par, in a highly competitive environment in high school and continue to perform above average. The teachers at MOJA have been easy to work with in creating an overall academic plan for their success, and focus on areas of concern to ensure full mastery of the subject lessons. As a parent, what was important to me and my kids where manageable class sizes, the ability to recognize different learning styles, but importantly a religious environment that supported and nourished our theological beliefs. Know, that this school is not for everyone nor is it a one size fits all, but if you are intentional about the education of your child and seek a culture where Christ is front and center in your child’s education, then you’ve found the right place.
I am pleased with the results of this school. All three of my daughters graduated as valedictorians (2015, 2018, and 2019) and have gone further in their academic careers. Commit to the process, be involved at the school and at home. Build a strong relationship with the teachers and staff and you will see great results.
