My daughter attended this school for only one year before realizing the low standard of teaching. I think the teachers are great and trying their best, but top management is not listening to the parents. The management team at this school should change. By the way, I already took my daughter out of this school.
Absolutely horrible.
Firstly, the school bathroom had slurs on the walls, and the bathrooms looked like an abandoned building.
Secondly, I would not recommend teaching here because the students are disrespectful and disorderly.
Thirdly, some teachers are horrible, and all the good teachers left (I don’t blame them).
Fourthly, this school is a zoo; there are so many bugs and lizards everywhere.
Overall, I would rate this school 0/10. I’ve been there for two years, and it was not a good experience. I felt so unsafe there. The students are not nice at all. Don’t enroll your students here!
RAK Academy’s priority is the students’ development and improvement, both morally and educationally. I appreciate the excellent follow-up by the receptionist, Mrs. Hana, if my children are late or absent. She also provides great support to students’ needs and advises them with love and care.
They have irresponsible management. They called the students in during the rainy day, even though everyone was online according to official instructions.
My daughter is extremely happy in school. She is always eager to attend, to the point that she is upset if she misses a day due to illness. I found the teachers to be very supportive, encouraging her to always try her best. She is also very athletic and has had the chance to compete on several occasions in Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai.
This school is very disappointing. The tests are unfair and the overall environment is unpleasant. Many experienced teachers have left, and the replacements are not as effective. The school wastes resources on trivial matters like shutting down student meme pages, which provide harmless humor and support. Meanwhile, students are struggling with excessive workloads and stressful test schedules. Despite being a well-funded institution, the internet connectivity is abysmal. The Physical Education department is severely understaffed, yet we pay exorbitant fees to attend this school. Where is all the money going? Many school trips and holidays, including the Grade 9 camping trip, have been canceled or ruined. The school claims to address bullying but takes no concrete action. It’s also unacceptable that secondary students were not given the opportunity to attend the Expo, a free and significant event. This school needs serious improvements.
Our daughter is a student at RAK Academy, currently in Year 11 (ISK equivalent to Year 4). She is very happy at the school. We have observed that the school culture and teaching team motivate students to learn better in a positive environment. This is helping our daughter prepare for entering a university of her choice.
