In this brief review, I will share my disappointment with a particular teacher who fell short in providing an effective learning experience. This review aims to highlight the teacher’s shortcomings and their impact on students.
The teacher lacked subject knowledge and preparation, resulting in confusion and hindering students’ understanding. Communication and classroom management were ineffective, leading to a disengaged and chaotic learning environment. The teacher’s reliance on monotonous lectures and lack of interactive teaching methods left students feeling disengaged and unmotivated. Additionally, inadequate support and feedback further hindered students’ growth and learning.
In summary, this teacher’s deficiencies in subject knowledge, preparation, communication, engagement, and support negatively impacted students’ educational experience. It is crucial for educators to continuously improve and strive for excellence to provide students with the best possible education.
It is a very poor school for education. They pressure both parents and children psychologically to provide financial contributions.
“Fees at FEPS are highly affordable.” What I know is that sentence was exaggerated. Pirates of the Caribbean, ah, school. Still okay since my classmates are friendly.
In November 2022, I experienced an allergic reaction during school hours. The school refused to take me to the hospital or call an ambulance so as “not to make a scene.” I was out of breath, having red hives and itching all over. It took them 40 minutes to decide to take me to a dermatologist instead of a hospital because I didn’t have my insurance with me, and the school refused to pay the bill (my parents were willing to pay). Even the dermatologist suggested they take me to the hospital since my parents weren’t around yet. The school is so corrupt and cheap! They only care about money and not the well-being of students!
The atmosphere of the school is nice. The students are fun to be with and open, but to be honest, I have issues with the toilets here. They’re disgusting, putrid, and always full of rubbish. People keep throwing things inside the toilet bowl, and people keep stealing from each other. Like that one time, I tragically lost my Jennie photocard during the assembly. That was traumatizing for me. Also, try squatting for two hours! Our classmate was kind enough not to gatekeep, and now I feel healthier. I absolutely adored the kindergarten teachers here and my other main subject teachers. I also loved the camping experience, though I bought all the soda and got a stomachache the following day. Anyway, I loved the memories made there, but maybe not the toilet trips.
The school is ridiculous. My kids were stopped from writing exams in May even though I had cleared all May finances. When I called the school, they told me that I was supposed to pay June school bus fare before they could write exams in May. I find this very annoying and disappointing because no one told me that I had to pay for anything in advance. I paid 2,500 dhs for miscellaneous expenses, and yet every week I have to give hand soap and tissues for the class. I have to pay to repaint the school wall because the kids were playing and dirtied the wall. The school doesn’t take responsibility for anything.
FEPS provides good education not only for Filipino students but also for other nationalities. I really admire the school management, teachers, and staff for their hard work, even in these challenging times. We try our very best to deliver quality education. Our program is designed not only to develop students’ academic standing or let them excel academically but to help them improve their totality as individuals. I am also proud and thankful that in our school our parents are really our partners; they are very supportive and cooperative. They always support us in whatever program we have in school!
