I have feelings for this school and good memories for my kids, too. However, you need to improve your communication level. I have been trying to contact the form tutor for Year 7 for more than three weeks and have not received a response. Please improve your relationship with parents and do not tell me to use Class Dojo. I have tried my best to speak to the teacher through this app, but to no avail. Please take into consideration that I am a father of three children in this school.
I am pretty happy with the school. Both my sons are learning well. Their confidence level is getting better after participating in the assemblies. The staff is also very cooperative.
Bad Experience.

The only reason I rated this school 2 stars is that the events are nice and fun, school trips are affordable and fun, and having fun with friends is also enjoyable.

The reason I only rate this school 2 stars is that some students are getting punished for invalid reasons. Teachers are too harsh and strict, and the staff doesn’t even follow its own rules. There are a few good teachers, but they still need improvement.

The staff is terrible. They don’t let students go to the canteen in hot weather due to safety concerns, which means my child has to stay in the classroom hungry. They also won’t stop asking for fees; they call me every day even though I told them I’ll pay in a few days when I have the money. The teachers also don’t teach effectively.
If you have a low budget, this school is a good choice, as it is affordable and offers many competitions and events. The app for communication with parents is very good; parents can message the homeroom teacher directly. Some teachers send photos of the children from time to time, which parents appreciate.

Disadvantages include small classrooms for 26 children in primary, which are very crowded. There are few washrooms for the whole grade, and the library is small, with only one book allowed home per half term. Depending on bringing books to school or online reading is not workable; if you wish your children to love reading, you may be disappointed. From Year 1, students are asked to bring their own device. The swimming pool is not suitable for beginners in Years 1-2. Each grade only has one or two native British teachers; most teachers are not native British.

Be careful with this school, especially when children are injured during school hours. The school may ask you to wait a day before going to the hospital for observation. However, if you do so and then seek medical attention the following day, you will be responsible for the medical bills, as the school will claim no liability for injuries sustained during school hours. I consulted with a lawyer and my daughter’s doctor, who informed me that this is entirely false and dishonest. They emphasized that the school is fully responsible for medical costs incurred due to injuries that occur on school grounds. Consequently, I filed a formal complaint demanding reimbursement for the substantial medical expenses I have already incurred. I must also caution parents that the Principal is not averse to dishonesty. He asserted that my daughter was perfectly fine when she left school and experienced no pain. However, I discovered that he had not been informed of the written documentation from the school doctor, issued that same day, stating that my daughter was still in pain. Therefore, exercise extreme caution concerning your child’s well-being, as it is dangerous to interact with such dishonest individuals, especially when it involves the safety and health of children. Had I not insisted on taking my daughter to the hospital, her wrist would currently be broken, simply because they refused to accept responsibility for their negligence. For any injury, ensure you obtain written confirmation of all verbal statements on the day of the incident.
I would give zero stars if that were an option. They don’t respect you when you visit them for admission, so imagine how the kids must be treated at this school!
