This school is horrible. I beg ADEK to shut it down. The classrooms are always dirty. There is bad treatment towards middle and high school students. Primary students go on trips every two weeks, while middle and high school students have one to three exams daily. The boys’ section, primary, and kindergarten sections have parties all the time, while the girls’ section only has them for National Day, and it’s never fun. They close all gates by 7:45 a.m. even though school starts at 8:00 a.m. The school has fewer weekends than other schools. If you ask any middle school student in the school to rate it, they will undoubtedly rate it a 0. Teachers and supervisors change their personalities whenever ADEK visits, as does the entire school. Middle school girls constantly talk about switching schools and compare their school to others due to the treatment we receive.
I loved this school. I let my kids in for maybe 14 years. All five of my kids [attended]. It’s so good and [provides a] great education [with the] best teachers, but the only thing is that they need to change [the] tables [and] chairs. They need to decorate classes more, that’s it. I love this school.
Teachers sit on the table as if they do not have a chair, even though their chairs are more comfortable than the students’ chairs. They have a supervisor who resembles a potato and wears the same clothes every day, as if they never change. Some teachers are racist; once, they chose white kids over black kids, even though there was a brown-skinned student who was the smartest and he barely answered.
Bro, everyone is mad about this school. I’m in this school, and it’s very good. I’m a 6th grader, and it has good teachers. When I was younger, I didn’t know how to read or speak English, but when I started learning and learning, I could write English. I can speak English and more….
The worst school you could ever attend has terrible services, including not allowing students to wait at their designated pickup gates. They have inadequate supervision, and inexplicably, midterms and finals account for 70% of the report card grade, which is the sole reason many students are failing. The facilities are subpar, with poorly maintained restrooms, inadequate gym and art rooms that are shared and cramped, malfunctioning air conditioning, outdated furniture, and a lack of curtains for the windows in the girls’ section. Students are even prohibited from wearing gray jackets. All the competent teachers have left, and the remaining staff inappropriately involve themselves in students’ personal lives, inquiring about past friendships and overreacting to trivial matters, sometimes resorting to physical harm against students.
This morning, October 24, 2017, I am focused on the security guard at the Grade 2 and girls’ entrance. This morning, a policeman was checking the area, and the security guard pushed me to leave, even though I had done nothing wrong. He is foolish and arrogant. All he does is walk around, making himself look busy for the policeman, trying to show that he knows what he is doing. When I asked for his name because he was writing down my license plate number for no reason, he told me, “I don’t care.” Seriously? Does he even know his job? He doesn’t even know how to direct traffic. Shameful! To all Ittihad heads, please be more discerning when hiring security guards. Every time I drop off and pick up my children, I notice that security guards of other nationalities do not seem to know their duties and responsibilities. I am not saying this because I am Filipino, but I believe Filipino security guards would handle the area better than that security guard who doesn’t care. Annoying!
