I was one of the first ever puples when it opened back in the mid 70s it was a fresh looking school everything was new the playing field was on of the biggest then I remember playing cricket near the big oak tree at the bottom end of the field we played British Bulldog a lot which could become very rough lunch time was fun six to a table and the two at the end were the servers (I bet that doesn’t happen any) the little library was fun sitting there pretending to read when the teacher was there and messing about when they weren’t. All open plan classes except the two on either end I left there in 1977 to go to Newlands down Saltersgill. When I look back I still have fond memories.
Best ever!!
