It’s a good school that supports their students to achieve very good grades. The building and facilities aren’t perfect, but a new building is on its way. There is a handful of very good teachers that make the school what it is. The grades achieved school-wide are on average very high compared to the area. On the other hand, the security on the building is very tight, and students are allowed very little freedom. I did 7 years in this school as a student, and I can say I enjoyed my time, but there is room for improvement.
This school claims to have an amazing mental health team which is a joke. The child protection officer had a sign on her door saying that “someone cares about you, not me but someone”. Headmaster hasn’t a clue and even staff can be bullies. Unless your child wants to be a lawyer, doctor, scientist or brain surgeon they are encouraged to fail as art, music and drama are always frowned upon and a “waste of resources” I pulled my child out as the “amazing” mental health team didn’t have a clue and they are settled and doing amazingly in college. Please think before you send your child here.
The school are dedicated to ensure the success of your child. The staff are very helpful and the building is state of the art. Facilities in the school allow students to receive the best educational experience. You should apply for this school.
Awful experience interviewing at this school. I was tricked into going by an agency. It looked like the set of the film ‘dangerous minds’. It gave me the impression of being a substandard community school for the lower achieving sections of west London’s low class ethnic minorities. I could not wait to leave. The deputy head teacher bullied me and mocked me throughout the interview and made it clear she resented me for my ‘privileged background’. I left in tears. So much for schools trying to tackle bullying. This woman is a bully herself.
Its a good school. The new building is going to be completed soon and the MOST of the teachers are nice.
