I worked in this school today as a Supply Teacher.
I was greeted by the ‘front of house’ personnel who showed me around the school and made me feel very welcome. A very professional but caring approach.
I taught 5Maple for the morning and 2Fir in the afternoon. I found the students to be motivated and enthusiastic about their learning and respectful to me as a visiting teacher at their school. A credit to their teachers and the school.

I was a pupil at this school, then called Preston Manor County Grammar School, from 1939 to1946 (yes I’m old now). Its teschers gave me a great education from which I’ve profited ever since, especially in English, history and languages. Most of them had uiniversity degrees. During the War there were air raid shelters big enough for all of us in the grounds. We used to put on very good music and drama performances in the hall.
Good school with students from all backgrounds and cultures and countries. The primary wing was added a separate school a few yrs back and has good modern infrastructure.
All our 3 children go here and it’s a Fantastic school with some great teachers and facilities.
My kids go to Preston Manor Primary School. It is a great school and with good teachers.
