“Hey everyone, I wanted to share my honest thoughts about my experience at this UK school. Overall, I have to say that I’m not a big fan. Let me break it down for you.

First of all, the strictness level here is off the charts. It feels like we’re living in a military boot camp sometimes. I get that rules are important, but it would be nice if they could loosen up a bit and give us a little more freedom.

Next up, the homework situation is just insane. It feels like they’re trying to drown us in assignments. I mean, come on, we’re already spending most of our day at school, and then they expect us to spend hours on homework too? It’s just too much, too fast.

One thing that really bothers me is the lack of sympathy from some of the teachers. It’s like they don’t even care about our struggles or personal issues. A little empathy can go a long way in creating a supportive learning environment.

Now, let’s talk about the football ban. Seriously, what’s the deal with that? They just took away our favorite sport without any valid reason. It’s not fair to punish everyone because of a few incidents. We should be able to enjoy sports and have fun.

Another thing that really irks me is the lack of open discussions and debates in the classroom. It’s like the teachers don’t want us to think for ourselves or express our opinions. Instead, they just give us a standard answer and shut down any further conversation. It’s important to encourage critical thinking and allow us to explore different perspectives.

Okay, let me tell you a story. There was this one time when I wasn’t feeling well and really needed to use the restroom. But guess what? The teachers wouldn’t let me go! It was horrible, and I ended up getting sick because of it. It’s essential to prioritize our health and well-being by allowing reasonable access to the restroom facilities.

Lastly, the food situation is just outrageous. They charge a whopping PS2.40 for a simple bread and meat meal. It’s like they’re trying to drain our wallets while serving us basic food. It would be great if they could offer more affordable options, ensuring that all students can have a decent meal without breaking the bank.

Overall, this school has a lot of room for improvement. From the strictness to the excessive homework

Thank you for making sure I would never have a future you useless, figure obsessed, corporate s**t talkers. They only focus on the top 10 or so students in order to improve their figures and the staff blame the students for their failures.

When I first walked through the doors of this pathetic excuse of a ‘school’ I tried my hardest in all subjects but I soon came to the attention of bullies, I tried reporting it to my head of year almost everyday but she did nothing and neither did any of my teachers except for one, my tutor even told me it was my fault due to her belief the whole class were her friends and formally punished me, I guess I was less valuable to their ‘figures’ than the other students. I don’t remember ever been more depressed than I was back then.
I later came to the conclusion that I had to be an A hole and misbehave in order to survive, which worked in the short-term but it later caused more issues for me.

Mr Horns self-indulgent assemblies never helped me ether, they only ever filled students with a false sense of hope and encouraged snobbery. I always wanted to do better and my life would be so much different if I got my maths and English to grade C but I was never really offered any help, the teacher would talk a lot of rubbish about you ‘being capable’ without any action. I felt safer and more secure outside the school building which is probably why I skived so many lessons.

The only good thing that came out of my time here was my 10 year friendship with my best friend, hes in a better place now RIP

(ps 8.30am is too early for any teenager, the research you’ve used as an excuse for doing this is based on adults who aren’t supposed to ‘think’ and finished puberty years before)

I attended this school when the headmaster was Farmer-Little, a tough fair and considerate person. During this period we changed from Secondary Modern To Beckfoot Grammar. Coming from a school with no direction and limited facilities to this great place of learning.
It is so easy to be negative and blame someone or thing else, it’s much harder to look at yourself.
I left this school and the UK starting a new life in Australia at 17, I have never looked back moulding a very successful career in the multinational area of business.
Thanks Farmer-Little, thanks Beckfoot!
IN SCIENCE TODAY I LEARNED HOW TO DISSECT A CHICKEN BECAUSE I’M TOTALLY GOING TO NEED TO USE THAT IN REAL LIFE EVER AGAIN
