My son has been attending this nursery since he was 11 months old. The staff are very supportive and attentive and my son has a great relationship with all his keyworkers and other members of staff.
They have a cook on site that cooks fresh tasty food every day and breakfast and snacks are provided. They have a lot or resources, books and toys indoors and a brilliant outside space with bikes, mud kitchen, little playground etc.
I have seen my son flourish in the 2,5 years he has been there and I couldn’t be happier with the service they provide. I would recommend this nursery to all parents.
My son has attended Aston university nursery since he was 9mths old and soon will be starting school. The staff are very helpful and friendly, they have provide the care and support from the beginning of what was a stressful time with returning to work. My son has a strong bond with all his keyworkers, but I am happy to talk to all of the staff regarding any issues. The nursery have a great indoor and outdoor environment for the children to explore and ask the older children as part of a nursery council for ideas of activities and improvements to there environment. The food provided by the nursery covers the nutritional needs of a growing child with a home cooked style, the staff were great with supporting a baby lead weaning when my son first joined. At Christmas the whole nursery put on a production with all ages included, this is a magical experience that will bring tears to your eyes, seeing the children perform parts of a story and singing songs gives you the warming feeling as a parent, the staff are who help make these special memories.
It is going to be a very sad day saying goodbye a great place for little minds to grow and great people who support our little ones, I can not say thank you enough to the whole team at the nursery. I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone.
We send our kids to a nursery with the trust that they will be in a safe environment and will be taken care of. Unfortunately Aston University Nursery fails to deliver this basic requirement.
My daughter was taken out in cold windy weather without jacket and hat and had to be hospitalised due to its consequences on her health.
There is also discrepancy in what information is put up on the parent portal and what the staff has to say about the kid. Hence again whom do we trust!!!
My kid used to come home starved and very thirsty everyday..
My kid had nappy rash on several occasions during her time in the nursery once requiring antibiotics ( 16 months when she was at home, not once did she have nappy rash.. so this was really shocking that the basic hygiene is not maintained)
I have seen staff literally throwing food like cracker in front of the kids directly on table even without a plate in front of them. Our kids are not animals.. this i feel is very wrong
Overall.. had a VERY BAD experience atthe nursery and i regret the day I selected this nursery for my daughter with the hope that she will be taken care of.. but that is not the case!
My son attended this nursery , and has been totally let down !! DO NOT SEND your kids here with additional and SEN needs ,
They will take funding when benefits them , and then leave your child when they need help the most , Donna as the manager also so absolutely appalled in how she’s dealt with my son , Adrian I’ve also gone back and fourth with has no understanding on what I’m saying also trying gaslight me . Wouldn’t recommend any child going there as they won’t take any accountability , also was with holding me putting this up as the nursery in transition of maybe another provider taking over , but this needed to be said so no other parents have to be left in the situation that my family has . BIG LET DOWN !!
PARENTS READ THIS BEFORE YOU ENROLL YOU MOST VALUABLE CHILDREN IN THIS NURSERY.

I visited nursery randomly few occasions these were my findings.

1) kids come home hungry
2) children are often crying and ignored by the staff. On one occasion I saw a todler accidently covered his head in blanket and was crying.
3) on 7/12 many children were shifted from nursery building to the aston main building. Some of them were not wearing hats and jackets. ( My daughter was rushed to A&E with sever cough, cold and wheezing).
4) on parenta (application to track children’s activity) staff made error of entering wrong details such she had food, however other staff had exactly contradictory story stating that she didn’t had any food. When confronted with the staff they said it was error.
