We had a very bad experience with that school, P1 teacher was very patronising and unpleasant (to say the least) from the beginning. Our son was going to school with tears in his eyes. Later on we’ve found out from other parents that children were shouted at and put into corners of the classroom (facing the corner) as a punishment. From talking to other mums I’ve found out that kids from other backgrounds are being treated unfairly (including our son). I was told by the P1 teacher that my son doesn’t know how to count or read and generally doesn’t know anything where the truth was that our sons level of knowledge at that point was way beyond average. We’ve moved him to a different school and the teachers were amazed how smart he is. Now he’s in P6, last assessment made by school is that his comprehensive reading level is of a 15 years and 6 months old (our son is 10yrs old).Plus he’s in school council for last 3 years. Windsor Hill was for us as a family a nightmare.
Went there around 7 years ago, as did all my siblings. Positive reports from all.
