My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 9 months old- at now just over 3 years old I can hand on heart say that this nursery is her home away from home and I could not imagine having sent her anywhere else. All of the staff have been absolutely incredible from day 1. One of the most difficult things to do as a parent is having to go back to work and entrust other people with the care of your child, but this nursery makes it so easy. It is so clear how much the staff here care for the little ones they look after. I am dreading the day my daughter goes to school and we have to say goodbye to this wonderful wonderful place. You are all absolute angels and I cannot thank you enough for helping me raise my little girl.
This nursery is absolutely shocking to say the least! The nursery staff, admin and reception staff are so unprofessional and don’t have a clue what is going on! The nursery staff put other children’s belongings in my child’s bag, they give no feedback at the end of the day, my daughter is size 6 nappies and she came home in a size 3 nappy! They never put her down for a nap even though I have requested many times, they don’t communicate with each-other so information is missed constantly. On collection one day my daughters nappy was down to her knees! Clearly hadn’t been changed for hours! They do not follow dietary requirements, the reception staff don’t know what day it is, they don’t even know that your child is on the nursery premises! I would give this nursery 0 stars and would NOT recommend if you want your child even decently taken care of!!!
Fantastic nursery. We had a few trials at different nursery schools, but this one was by far the best. My daughter loves going and only took a week or so to settle in, which was great for her. She now waves us goodbye at the door and runs in to play.
All the staff are lovely, friendly and very helpful.

This nursery school is judged by Ofsted to be outstanding and is a Local Authority School which is open term-times only. Children can attend for free, according to their entitlement. There is also the option to pay for additional child-care on top of the free entitlement including breakfast and after school care. The school is newly built, and has inspiring facilities both indoor and out. The provision is run by experienced and mature teachers and level 3 practitioners with a philosophy inspired by Reggio Emilia, Danish Forest Schools and Fredrich Froebels.
If u have a child with complex needs the senco team is non help find a better nursery since notts city council and mellors primary school took over this nursery it’s rapidly gone down hill
Very angry parent have history with this nursery since day1of opening but last 3years it’s bin hand of mellors and council it’s gone to pot I’ve had to remove my complex child from here mellors primary school staff now run this nursery and the senco please don’t send them here
