Our daughter is in year 6, her older sister left Prenton Prep 4 years ago.
The school ethos championed by Mr Jones the headmaster is one of excellence, family values and christian behaviours. Its not about religion, its always schooled on values.
They have a strong academic record with virtually every child achieving their choice school when they leave.
The thing that always resonates with me, is seeing Mr Jones welcome every child …by name into school…then again at home time. He has a bearing that the children like and respect.
This leading by example continues through with all the excellent teachers.

The level of pastrol care they infuse is something to behold.
Yes it cost money, yes you have to make financial sacrifices, but seeing both my children go through the school, and achieve such exceptional results, both 11+ passed, and just as importantly learn family values about caring for others, just confirms our decision to put Mr Jones and the great teachers at Prenton Prep in charge of our children’s early and informative years.

With my daughter leaving year 6 in July this year, I will miss going to Prenton Prep but leave knowing we gave our children the very best of starts.

We have 2 children in Prenton Prep, we initially planned on staying for the pre-school only and then moving to a local state school. However, our daughter loved the school and was thriving so we stayed. Both our children love the school and they have wonderful friendship groups. The education provided here is exceptional and there is a great focus on confidence building. I would highly recommend.
We have 3 children in the school. The teachers are of a different level to any we have met before or since. You really feel that they know, understand and care for each of our children and their individual needs. We initially sent our eldest child to a local state school. He was lost in a huge class without the proper support that he required. It couldn’t be more different since coming to Prenton Prep. We can’t thank them enough for the positive impact they have had on all of our children. We highly recommend attending and talking to the teachers. People make the difference in any setting and Prenton Prep has fantastic people throughout it.
My son has recently joined PP and what a difference it has made to him and to us. He is finally having his needs met by a school that is truelly inclusive, nurturing and supportive. He has more opportunities available to him, and we feel he will thrive in the calm environment that the school offers with it’s smaller class size and family feel.
We moved our son here in September 2023 for the start of Year 2 from a local primary school. Everyone was so welcoming and he settled much more quickly than we expected. He loves his school and is trying to encourage his friends to move here too.
