I started working at Kindred Salisbury around 6 months ago after moving from out of town and I am very happy here! The staff have been so welcoming, kind and make the environment a pleasant one to work in. The whole team work well together and support is always offered. The management team are very supportive and approachable and have made my transition so easy. The children are offered many different educational and exploratory opportunities that help in aiding their development using curiosity and fun which is lovely to be a part of! I have been so impressed with the overall care to both the children and staff at this setting and look forward to continuing my own professional development and experiences here!
My daughter has only been with Kindred Salisbury for just over a week. She’s 10 months old and my first child, so I have felt incredibly anxious but with the times as they are, I don’t have much choice but to go back to work. She seems to have settled in so well already. Of course, there have been a few tears as to be expected, but she’s not scared to be handed over and even reaches out to a couple of the members of staff who she recognises. The team have been so patient with all of my many questions and seem to be quite flexible in their approach to fit the child and their family’s ways. I love that you can message the room on their app and get a quick response about how they are doing/arrange pick up, etc. At pick up, the staff give you a little run day about their day, which feels personalised to the child. One of my main concerns was her food intolerances and how they would handle this at the nursery. She has CMPA and an egg allergy. One of the managers, Sandra, was kind enough to send me the list of ingredients for the meals she had in the first week. It’s so reassuring to know that the meals come sealed with the child’s name on, so there is little chance for my daughter to eat something she shouldn’t have. While I still feel anxious and sad about leaving her, I do feel that she is in good hands. In terms of the nursery itself, I like that there isn’t much in the way of plastic and noisy toys. They seem to focus on interactive play and child focused play. They know how to reassure an unhappy baby, by singing and looking out of the window, etc. There is a little outside area for the baby room – all you really need for little people! They have a tuff tray and outdoor play things. I’m only giving 4 stars as she hasn’t been there very long, but I’m confident that we’ll both continue to be happy with the Kindred Salisbury team 🙂
I have been working at kindred Salisbury for just over 6 months and I am very happy here. I have now signed on to do my level 3 qualification which I am very excited about. The management team are extremely supportive and are amazing at helping you reach your goals. Both of the rooms work together as one team and work towards the same goals of supporting the children and have a passion to create a safe and welcoming environment for children to grow, develop and thrive in.
I have been working for Kindred Salisbury for over a year now. It’s a lovely place to work and has a nice community feel to it. The staff are friendly and the management team experienced and dedicated. The children are happy and are able to learn and develop in a fun and imaginative environment. I feel good about sending my baby to Curiosity Crescent next October, and am confident the team will look after her in a gentle and loving way.
I started to work at Kindred Salisbury in September this year and I love it. I love the atmosphere in every room. The staff is great, friendly and very supportive. The manager team is very helpful and they give lots of support too.
