We’re so pleased we found Apple Tree nursery!
Our daughter has been going for 18 months since we moved to the area and it has to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made! The location is fantastic with a huge garden for the little ones to play and explore. It’s a really homely and welcoming environment which was so important to us.
The team there are absolutely incredible and so caring & loving towards your little ones! They plan so much fun stuff for the children and I’m always amazed by all the arts and crafts they make. They really know how to make learning fun with their energetic enthusiasm. It really fills my heart hearing my daughter tell me everything that she’s been doing and seeing the excitement in her face. Her overall development has continuously improved, so much so that I feel she’s going to have a smooth transition into ‘big school’ life!
She has made some amazing friends at Apple Tree and all the children are always full of smiles and clearly having a great time!
I really can’t recommend Apple Tree enough and so grateful for all the team.

My daughter was at AppleTree from 9 months old. She looked forward to going every day and it was a really lovely environment for her. The team are fantastic and bring a lot of fun and energy to the setting, and my daughter regularly brought home very creative bits of artwork as well as, more recently, papers demonstrating her developments in copying/writing and drawing.
It’s a small nursery and my daughter has made some good friends there.

Apple Tree is a fantastic nursery and our 4-month-old is so happy here! We were anxious about having to send our little one to nursery so early but Apple Tree have made this process as comfortable as possible right from the start and we have absolutely made the right decision in choosing them.

They’re proactive and supportive when working with us as parents to maintain consistency with routines and values etc. and they go above and beyond to help and support. The team are caring, attentive and professional and take excellent care of the children. They provide plenty of outdoor time and enrichment to support and encourage development, as well as making it a fun and comforting environment with lots of play time and cuddles. Particularly considering the pandemic’s potential impact on development, we’re seeing direct benefits of sending our little one to Apple Tree in social, physical, mental and emotional milestones. Their small groups and focussed care have directly contributed to our baby’s progress, resulting in a happy, strong, active and curious baby that is happy and confident. We do not have any separation anxiety issues and no shyness or concern when held by new people, only big smiles and curiosity!

This has been the best decision we’ve made for our baby and (as anxious first-time parents) we are relieved to have found such safe hands for our precious little one.

If I could score them any higher I would – Apple Tree is an absolutely wonderful nursery! Thank you team for all you do!

I cannot recommend Apple Tree Ovingdean highly enough! Janet and her team have made our little ones (and us!) feel like part of their family since we moved down from London The setting is beautiful, and they take so much care to ensure every child feels happy, loved and inspired each and every day. They put a huge amount of effort into the activities they design for the children, throwing themselves into creating joyful experiences that the children adore. We’ve sent our little ones to 3 nurseries over the years and this one is by far the best. So grateful to Janet, Kate and all the team!

Really lovely, small nursery. Staff are friendly, kind and caring and stay in touch throughout the day with pictures and updates. Build up a great rapport with the children. I rarely get tears when dropping off my son as he has such a lovely time (and on the odd day that I do you they share a photo moments later of him laughing and playing). There’s a real emphasis on outdoor play so the kids get loads of fresh air and exercise. Would highly recommend to friends and family. A lovely place!
