My daughter goes here and seems completely happy and not pressured at all, she finds it is a fun and caring environment and the school is its strong emphasis on academic achievement, sport and other areas. You are indeed lucky if you get the chance to be educated here!!
My friend got bullied and they have bad teaching and no one got academic achievements and no sport.
hated this place. was bullied for 2 years straight, got so bad had to move schools. unless ur rich, then put ur kid here. but if ur not, then dont. coz these girls love hurting other people who aren’t like them. and the studies was good. After six years, the pain is still there.
I have 3 daughters at Queen Margaret College and have been part of the school for a number of years. It is an exceptional school where staff are highly qualified and dedicated to getting the best out of the students. The school places a strong emphasis on wellbeing and not purely on academic achievement. The school recognises the importance of nurturing well-rounded individuals, and therefore offers a wide range of co-curricular activities. Whether it’s participating in sports, music, arts, or community service, there is something for every student to explore.

For me the great thing about QMC is that it’s not a cookie cutter school. There is a recognition that girls may need support in learning or mental health. For example learning support is offered for those who may need additional assistance academically and psychologists are on-site for those who need support with their wellbeing. As well, you don’t have to be a top sports person as social teams are also offered for those keen to have fun with friends. QMC has a real commitment to the holistic development of the girls and I have always felt the staff were accessible and very open to finding solutions to any issues that arise.

Exceptional Learning Experience

For diplomatic and military families like ours, or anyone in need of a top-quality education, Queen Margaret College is an excellent choice. The advantage of being an IB World School is that QMC follows a globally recognised curriculum. No matter where our postings take us, we know our children’s education will maintain its consistency and high standard.

QMC’s academic prowess is top-notch. The teachers are outstanding, incredibly supportive, and proficient. They foster an intellectually stimulating environment that motivates students to strive for academic excellence. The variety of subjects offered ensures students receive a well-rounded education, preparing them well for the future.

Our experience with QMC has been fantastic, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to other families. The school offers not only an academically challenging environment but also a warm, welcoming community that makes you feel at home, no matter where you’re from.
