I have had four children pass through this school, all with very different needs. It has been the most fantastic place for all my children to develop into well qualified, caring adults in the most supportive and caring environment any parent could wish for. Amazing teachers, amazing leaders, and recognised as such by OFSTED. No complaints from me, or any other parents I know for that matter!
Ah, Mounts Bay. I was but a young, Cornish youth when I first embarked on my journey here. There were highs, there were lows. There were people of virtue, and people of despair. Lessons of great interest, lessons of dire boredom.
An adventure fit for a king! But not for your child. 2/10.
my kid has been ‘educated’ in some of the ‘top’ systems around the world, his older sister too and to date this is the best school my son has attended, while his sister attended a sim non-acad in london, also excellent. i recommend both to unpretentious parents seeking an ambitious school that hasnt forgotten what it is to be a teen – we live in the middle of a challenging nowhere but by some miracle the school doesnt feel like some backwater drinking hole for trump voters
negs – uniform is pretty crap. am not a uniform enthusiast and this one could use dropping or a practical update. as for student attitude – small number of them seem to have regrettable amounts of unhelpful tendancies but i think the school does a good job mitigating and minimising the detrious / impact
Great place to go if you want your child to be punished with 4 after school detentions and an exclusion for doing literally nothing, teachers are lying, arrogant and cretinous. Do NOT send your child here if you want them to get anywhere in life.
Disgusting treatment of a 14 year old girl who was excluded when she cut her hair to raise money for charity. Wouldn’t send my children to such an unprogressive school with archaic rules like these.
