The worst school in Coventry. The children are abusive, disrespectful and totally feral. You have to see bus drivers shut the doors and drive off as the behaviour is appalling.
I am surprised that OFSTED hasn’t shut the school down. I know friends whose children are suffering due to the teachers having no control as many students openly swear and are on their phones. The kids definitely run the show. Feel sorry for those who want to learn. Not the school for children who want a good start to secondary. Avoid completely.
Somebody named Julia told me there was a bomb here, that’s scary. I really don’t recommend. My kids go to this school and I’m shocked that I’ve had to have them back home early as I work long hours at HEAT in the town centre. Not happy 🙁
After three weeks’ invigilation and supply work at Meadow Park, I feel I can say with some certainty that this is a school in very serious difficulties. Sadly, as a ‘rebranded’ academy, it is immune from inspection until September 2025, but I fear it may have passed the point of no return by then. The ‘regular’ staff are very supportive of one another, to be fair, but the atmosphere can only be described as anarchic as the school is, in effect, run by it’s pupils who, for the most part, do exactly as they please without fear of any meaningful consequence. While some pupils are keen to learn, hoards of wild adolescents drown their cries out. I know that, as a cover teacher, I should expect a ‘tough gig’, perhaps a bit of name calling and low-level disruption but pupils coming into the classroom uninvited in order to trash it and destroy the resources was not on my agenda. Some pupils refused to say who they were, so that it was impossible to complete class registers; less than 50% came to school with any equipment whatsoever, and what they borrowed they then destroyed along with many other resources provided for them. I have poured my heart and soul into schools all across Surrey and the West Midlands since 1993 but this place broke me. It is not safe, nor is it doing many of its pupils any good.
None of the teachers actually care about pupils. During class, there’s at least 30 kids running around the corridor. The classroom itself is like a jungle, people are screaming, throwing chairs and in some cases, random kids walk into the classroom, hit someone (not in a joking way) and walk out, the teachers don’t care (this is what happens in set 1, other sets are even worse). They lie to parents about helping their child e.g. pretending to give counselling sessions although they don’t, saying they provide a safe space for the student. If you want your kid to be happy and learn stuff, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU 😀
this school was awful my daughter got batterd and kindnaped by 9 monkeys
