I was a student here a few years ago, and I now have younger relatives that go here too…it seems like it’s gotten worse, teachers lashing out their stress and anger on to students, bullying is not dealt with properly and students are dismissed as tateltales if they speak about there issues to some teachers. I would highly recommend not to take your children here that have learning disabilities/mental health conditions or if they identify as LGBTQ+ as it is not a friendly or welcoming space unfortunately especiallywith students. Teachers are unnecessarily strict and have bullied students in the past and to this day. Your child cannot miss a single day of school even if it’s for legitimate/valid reasoning and you’ve told the school. The school hides it’s “mistakes” by constantly bragging about how ofsted gave them “outstanding” a few years back. Some teachers have a go at students if they ask for help during lessons and again are uneccessarily strict. It is literally like a jail for students and it seems that in recent years it has only gotten worse. My school experience here was difficult and I would say close enough to traumatic. I personally wouldn’t recommend any child to come to this school.
My granddaughter as experience alot of toxic behaviour towards from the security and by older students trying to bully her whan trying to go home today my granddaughter was assaulted but she defended herself but was, fighting of mother an daughter I m disgusted thats there’s no duty of care or help whan she needed it just others recording her being attacked no one stopped it no security in sight as normal
My son went to this school mr reeds puch him in the face then mt c sat on him they don’t feed the children all the teacher smoke and drink in school
First impressions, the school is modern and very clean-it was very unlike the postwar schools I attended for my education in the 70s/80s.
I attended a theatrical production, the kids involved were clearly very talented, having a great time, being very motivated to show their abilities (by their teachers?).
It was a great evening of entertainment, and lovely to be able to check out this gem of an asset, sitting in the heart of Coventry.
Well done to the school staff, kids and everybody involved
