Great school, good teachers there that put lots of effort into the school. If you want your child to have the best grades, send them here, a hard working school. Staff are always there to help incase anything happens, bullying for example, if anything like this happened it would be sorted out instantly, proud to be a pupil at CMS, ‘A school to be proud of’

We’ve had two children progress through the school and, whilst it is wrong to compare children, what is clear is that communication and social aspects of school life has deteriorated under the current head teacher (Mr P Bowers). Long-term bullying takes place, and the emphasis is on the parent to press the school for updates in order to understand what is being done to address the issues.
The teachers themselves are dedicated and children appear to enjoy the lessons.
The key issue with this school is the leadership at the top.
The 2013 Ofsted report categorises this school as a ‘Good’ school. My experience is that it was a good school but is in decline.

This school is treating me terribly, I have been there for 1 and a half years and I will remain annoymous, this school screams at me for being 2 minutes later, the science teacher screams at everyone for no reason, this french teacher sets homework every week 2 times a day. And she gives me a detenion for not doing the homework it is set. I cant believe Ofsted rated this school ‘GOOD’ it is the worst the most disgusting place ever, secondly the teachers have assaulted one of my friends before he got sacked from his job, the toilets make everyone gag, its always messy as people throw toilet paper at the walls and ceiling, the is always p*ss on the floor and the soap machine is always empty. This school deserves to be shut down, the way they treat the pupils is not acceptable, I really think Ofsted need to re mark this school without much notice so they cant make it ‘nice’ for one day so it looks good. Thirdly the dinner ladies are horrible, even when you take 4 seconds to decide what you want to eat they always shout and say, ‘HURRY UP’ and I’m proud to say this, I want that thing shut down. Finally bullying happens alot and is not dealed with appropiately. Please see this Codsall and sort out your school.

A good school easy to access and also a friendly environment. As I am a pupil here 2013 year 7 it has been great a safe and caring place wrapped up in a very good education definitely recommend it.

Codsall Middle School is a great school, giving every student a right to learn and every teacher the right to teach. CMS is not only a school but also a second family during, my years at codsall middle I have been taught not just only education but also how to be a loyal person. At CMS I could always ask the teachers for help. Before going to CMS I struggled in school but now I’m an A star student all because of CMS ! CMS has gave me a wonderful education and a wonderful childhood.
