Have no complaints at all with this school. Teachers have always been helpful and my son feels like he is listened too and any concerns are dealt with swiftly and effectively. We didnt even look at any other high schools for our daughter as we rate Alec very highly.
I regularly work at this school and am very impressed by staff and in particular their positive attitude to pastoral care. A school with pupils in need of support which goes the extra mile to help everyone become their best self and achieve full potential.
I’m at student that’s been going to this school for 4 months now and it’s good in education ways however I don’t appreciate the way some teachers act. They lied on my name to get themselves out of trouble and I ended up getting excluded for nothing half way through my formal year 11 exams. I got searched for a allegation that wasn’t even made this put me under pressure around some teachers and made me feel really uncomfortable especially when I found out from my head of year they wasn’t allowed to do it. They made out I was being racist about my own race witch I don’t think is fair I don’t like going to the school to feel pressured I have 5 months left I just want to do my exams if they’ll actually let me.
My cousins son was bullied yesterday his parents were contacted by the school nurse. The boy admitted it and yet today the same boy bullied my cousins son again.

i’m a student at alec hunter and my name is James Morgan. I really regret living after stepping foot in this school three years ago after moving from an even more dreadful school honywood. the food is over price half the teachers are prise prats.
