Thatcham Park is a welcoming and inclusive school with family values and community support as a huge part of the ethos. My son has been happy here right from F2 and has had a great deal of support throughout. At a difficult time for all schools facing budget challenges and financial constraints, the school and teaching staff continue to do an amazing job and I can’t thank them enough. I hope that when he moves on at the end of year 6 next year that his school journey and experiences will be as happy as his years at Thatcham Park.
I have 2 children in this school one in F1 and the other in year 3.
Both love going to this school and tying to keep them home during sickness is very difficult.
The teachers are 100% dedicated to providing the pupils with the best education, which is very difficult when the government continuously make cuts to the education budget.
Big thanks to all the teachers and staff at Thatcham Park Primary School.

What a wonderful school! My daughter is so happy here, the teachers are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The school communication is excellent and you have a real sense of community. It is always a delight to see the children with smiling faces!

Since the New Head Mrs Alison Webster started at the school in 2013. Not only has the OFSTED report slipped to ‘Needs improvement’ but the level of staff leaving or being requested to leave has rocketed to unsustainable levels, causing disruption to the children’s ability to learn. Many believe this is due to the poor management style of the head. following the recent departure of yet another male teacher in year 6, only 5 days prior to parents evening and weeks prior to their SATs there is now pressure from many parents asking the governors to investigate the root causes and suitability of Alison Webster as the Headmistress of Thatcham Park Primary.
it is bad, super bad, i went there (and my sister does) and there is no type of Spetial Educational Needs or Perminately Disabled Recourses or Hearing Impaired Recources and there software is out of date (they still use windows 2000)
