Great school, cares about all of their wide range of students. Would recommend to all Rolleston residents

One of the reasons I don’t recommend this school is because the students keep on distracting the class a d teachers having less time to teach. Also the cafeteria food is unaffordable with paninis costing $8 dollars

this place is the worst place you can send your child I sent my Timmy here and he got bullied by a bunch of ranga blondes with bad hygiene please if you want your kid too be safe and sound any school is better then this one

Alongside every other school, this school has positives and negatives. I for one can vouch for this as I have previously attended Rolleston College over the last four years.

Rolleston College offers the standard New Zealand curriculum in a hybrid learning format, allowing for a variety of courses and skillsets to be applied. It is this open learning that causes a great deal of controversy amongst locals (at least to my knowledge) due to the perceived lack of discipline. This however is no cause for concern due to the – pretty standard – handing of misbehaving students. I strongly believe that the positives of this hybrid learning format far outweighs the potential negatives.

(Do keep in mind that this may be a very particular case) The staff and hybrid learning has helped me achieve highly and accelerate my learning over the last two years. The environment has prepped me well for university STEM fields and I plan to attend UC next year for a Bachelor of Engineering. Like all schools staff and students vary in their helpfulness/kindness however I’ve found most to be very helpful if asked.

I personally would highly recommend this school to anyone who is strongly motivated when it comes to education as you will flourish in this environment when compared to more traditional schools. Due to the hybrid environment, a great deal of self-management is required (Parents be advised).

Pies are 6 dollars and don’t even taste that nice
