Generally speaking, this is a good school. Most teachers are knowledgeable and supportive and there seems to be a good support system going on. However, in my opinion, the school is way too big. Individual attention is very rare and (a minority) of the teachers don’t even bother to learn your name. Furthermore, the behavior awards and sanctions need a massive improvement. Detentions are given out to easily and award systems seem to ignore people who are always good and praise the people who are usually bad but have done one good little thing.
Its actually a great School with amazing resources and mostly Great teachers, bad behaved students come here after being kicked out or punished and try and make the school look bad in ratings when really they are the bad ones. I currently go to this school and I find it epic. I am in the end of year 10 and I’ve earned PS125 in rewards for working hard. Recommended.
big up my don Mr Marsh, he is the best teacher in the ICT department. He is making me succeed in my GCSE in IT. ;). If you ever see a guy with a big grey beard with slick back grey and black hair, give him a warm welcome or you better watch out.
went here from 69 – 74. Big scary school at the time . Best teacher was Mr Norton . Worst teacher was miss woods . She made me prove I was on my period . Until my mam went up & nearly strangled her ! Head teacher Mr Fisher , deputy head penfold
The school is nice, they are have a big playground, they have a pool. All they are need staff with more experience, knowledge and good behaviour with kids, because the staff scream to kids all the time.
