Maiden name of “Hickman”. Plamer being my married/widowed name. As an ex student of this college – 1989 – 1992, I have to say that I did not like the atmosphere.
Coming from the North Island, from a co-ed college and being “thrown” into a single sex school for girls was not the most exciting learning experience, especially with a Greek principal who had the whole school curriculum revolving around his daughters!!, and the deputy principal at the time wasn’t much to get along with, either.
There were however, some good teachers there but couldn’t brag about the bad ones!!
I have been living back in the north island for years now and think myself very lucky to have not put any of my daughters through the hell that I went through!!

This school is horrible teachers don’t care about mental health people start rumers and the bullying is terrible
too many farm animals. get to play games in class, head of maths department is amazing
The teachers are all mean and you find chewing gum under the desks and graffiti on the tables and vapers in the bathrooms destroying the toilet
schooling isn’t good. Teachers treat you badly. I’m leaving next year
