There are also many positive changes which have improved learning and also bridged the gap between parents and teachers.
My children have grown in confidence due to extra curriculum activities, giving them the platform to grow and shine.
The dedication, commitment and encouragement from the head teacher Mrs speak and all staff (particularly reception teachers) has been tremendous.
Feel very grateful to have a well run and always improving school for my children.
We were considering moving out of Bradford due to poor schooling but Mrs Speak has changed our views on schools in Bradford
The breakfast club and after school care has also helped in our hectic working lives with better work life balance.
Thank you everyone at Poplars Farm.
I found the head teacher (Mrs Speak) to be very apathetic and made me feel very uncomfortable. Mrs Speak was very abrupt and did not seek to resolve my issues. She has lost my confidence in the school in being able to deal with matters effectively and in an understanding way.
I have previously highly recommended this school, however since dealing with the new head my views have totally changed. My children have been attending this school since 2006 and I’ve never been made to feel like this before. This was my first interaction with the new head and to my disappointment a very disappointing one.
A serious incident took place within the school which I felt was not dealt with professionally or appropriately, leaving me to feel very uncomfortable in allowing my child to continue attending this school.
On the surface the school may present itself well with the adaptions they are making recently, however this is all fruitless if the head teacher cannot build a good relationship with the parents when matters arise.
