I have 2 children attending this school with a third to join soon. To me choosing Trinity has been easy, the OFSTED and exam results are comparable if not better than any of the other local offerings. This school cares about the “rounded” child, their personal development, their social awareness which is equally as important as their academic development. But what truly sets Trinity apart from other schools is their ethos. In this school every child matters and every child is treated as an individual. The staff and head know all the children by name and are very responsive when contacted. We are proud to be part of the Trinity community.
We have been really happy with Trinity Catholic School. We are not Catholic but chose the school because of its ethos of community and inclusiveness. We also knew that along with teaching our children well they would nuture them into becoming fully rounded and happy people. Communication via the school is fantastic. Every email I send is responded to immediately even by the principle. The staff know the children and the children feel that is is truly their school. We are lucky to have found it!
I have one child at Trinity (and 3 more hopefully to follow) and have been really impressed with the school. Not only are academic standards high but there is a focus on creating well-rounded, confident and creative learners with a real respect for each other. My son has settled in brilliantly and the staff have been approachable whenever I have needed to contact them.
As a former student at Trinity Catholic School I believe that the school could do more progress on the students learning and the students behaviour. The teachers need to be less laid back as they have a tenancy to let the student delinquents lounge around in the classrooms. I also believe that the school should be a lot more strict about bullying instead of a weeks suspension. other then this criticism I believe that the teachers are friendly and the school is in a great environment
My niece has been at this school for nearly 4 years and she is very happy here. It is a caring and compassionate school where student welfare is very important. Students are encouraged to develop and learn with all the support they need and I would have no hesitation in recommending this school to any student or parent.
