This school is only interested if your child is a high achieving child. If the child has learning issues you can forget it. I had two children at the school one in each bracket and wow did i see a difference. The school is only interested in statistics and performance. I can’t wait for this week (when my daughter leaves) for the nightmare to be over. Good luck if you send your child here. They will need it.
My experience at Treorchy comprehensive is very good. Their is a lot of homework but teachers help you mange it. Their are also lots of extracurricular activities. This is shown as in the esbern inspection we had full marks in all categories
has a lot of problems; replacing all of the teachers computers with smarts pros that don’t work, changing the days because ?. but it does have some positive qualities, good lessons, good teachers, so some good, some horrible
I attended Treorchy for 6 years and has got to say that it is a really good school:)
