I would give zero stars if I could!!
This academy is an absolute mess, constantly using substitute teachers & no discipline for the disruptive students. We have explained countless times some of the issues with teachers half heartily doing there job & students that get away with things totally unacceptable! Myself & wife left voicemails with the office & the auto reply that we will be contacted within 24 hours is a joke its been 3 weeks now!
The recent ofsted report is completely fabricated & in no way true, personally I feel the people that run that report should be quality controlled themselves.
I am very disappointed with this school, the way it manages things is unprofessional & I can’t wait to get my kids out of this ridiculous sham.
Im clearly not alone in this opinion you only have to read the other reviews.
(this is being honest) it’s defiantly not the worst worst school, but it’s to tell the truth, bad, quite bad, many teachers are leaving because they admit, this school is mildly bad, there’s a forever clogged toilet, and one of the flush buttons is missing, they never actually cared distancing us from each other while covid-19 happens, they give you a detention for not tucking your shirt in all the way, they didn’t even give computer science as a GCSE option, which is inexcuseble, and the only teacher that I could think off actually managing a classroom the way it should be managed is my math teacher, only one in my entire roughly 3 years of being here, he’s a good teacher, overall, bad. oh yeah and also bullying.
Bullying and lack of action. What is it that girls cant wear knee length socks? Why havent they implimented uniform changes, still charging parents the earth for embroidered logos. That boys dont have to have. Not covid safe, doors and windows not left open! As a Leigh Academy its very poor!
Teachers wine about a mask.. like if I wear a normal mask for 7 hours straight I can’t breath. With my mask u can breath, without being sweaty, Comfortable, protection and just fits with the uniform. Ur here to teach people not to shout at me everyday saying “tAkE yoUr MaSk ofF”
pulled my daughter out of this school. the kids r so rude and a lot of bullies. since being home tutored she as probley done more work at home and learned alot more at home than she as in the last 3yr’s of being there!
