I don’t normally send emails like this but a group of school children from Ray Lodge Primary School got on my tube carriage yesterday on my daily commute into London. Normally the whole carriage sighs (as they do not want to hear (or see) school children in the morning but this group was very different. They sat quietly and read their books and were simply the best behaved children I have ever seen. I know someone else commented on the tube too to the teacher in charge. I have lived in Woodford for over 20 years and actually sent my daughter to Churchfields school but having seen those children yesterday I would have certainly reconsidered that choice now. Whoever the teacher was that was in charge of them was brilliant, she completely had all those children under control at all times.
