Horrible, horrible, horrible, do not take your kids here. I am not exaggerating. Only 40% of students passed GCSE english and maths in 2019, check the gov website if you don’t believe me.

Their teaching methods are lacking so much that they don’t even push students to get top grades AT ALL! When I moved here in year 9 the people in “top set” were barely scraping grade 6s. In a normal school you couldn’t touch top set unless you had straight 9s.

Not to mention how lacking the languages department is. For my year 11 mocks THE WHOLE YEAR had to take foundation because everyone was failing. 2s and 3s everywhere, not a single pass. The only people who did well were the native speakers. Mind you this was during covid, so people’s GCSE results were teacher assessed. When results day came suddenly everyone had 7s and 8s in languages. And its so funny because even the people who failed every GCSE had a suspiciously high grade in languages

OK, well this school might not be the best or the teacher might not be perfect neither the way they talk to you but they do give you the education that you need and the bullying or racism gets in the way of learning but at the end of the day you still feel the same way and you might have more confidence to stand up to that person. But at the end of day it all comes down to you.
This School is a joke, the students are disgusting and talk about stabbing people and killing peoples parents.

My son has autism and has been bullied by numerous different people and yet the school seems to take in their stride and took minimal action to deal with the issues.

I would avoid this school at all costs.

I attend this school and I strongly suggest if you are thinking of sending your child he I strongly suggest don’t as 99% of teachers don’t take passion / care about the job they are handed and the students here are violent and the disaplineary system here is absolutely atrocious
Best school I have been to! Good education but the year 11s.
Go to this school! Really nice teachers! 🙂
