My son has been in this nursery for 2 months now and I cannot recommend it enough!

The staff are all wonderful, caring and committed. The nursery manager, deputy manager, room staff and the chef were all so invested in making sure my son settled in well. This has been a huge help as I was nervous about leaving him to return to a full time job at 6 months. I also get detailed feedback every day on how well he’s doing.

My son loves his key person and everyone else who takes care of him. He has made huge progress in his development since joining the nursery. The nursery staff support us with his weaning, mobility and other development needs. He gets so excited every morning when he sees the building, I think that’s the best indicator of the quality of care he’s receiving.

I would not recommend this nursery.

It was alright in the beginning but then his key worker left and so did a lot of the previous staff. I soon saw how chaotic and unstable it was getting. New faces every other week. They were using agency staff. They did not bother to put a bib on him while he ate, or an apron if they did painting. I cannot give his clothes away or use them as hand-me-down as they are so utterly ruined.

I tried to address this, they said to keep the stained clothes so he had ‘nursery/play clothes’. My child is growing every month, do they think I have a money tree to keep buying a new set of clothes to get stained?

Multiple times where another parent took home his shoes.

Then I noticed more often than not, upon picking him up, his nappy was dirty.

The incident that did it for me was one pick up, he was chewing on a leaf in the garden. When I got him to spit out and I showed the staff they said “I don’t know what that this.”

No accountability. No one even noticed until I pointed it out.

I decided to move him. I gave one month notice as was required. They called me the following Friday and told me he could no longer attend from that day forward. Which means that for one month I had to fork out a lot of money on a private nanny.

I did not even bother fighting with them over not giving me even a week’s notice.

Totally unprofessional.

This nursery used to be good, then new managers took over, the manager Maria is the most rudest nursery manager i have ever met. Her customer service skills is appalling, from the time i met her it have been hard work dealing with her. She doesn’t answer my emails and partner email at times, she have took her time to answer emails. I do find them rude at times with response. We only have one child so not experience with the old funding system, they make there invoicing so complicated. And don’t seem interested in simplifying it for new parent. The staffs was lovely but these new managers acts as if they are doing you a favour. At the end i hated the experience so much i took my daughter from that nursery a place her with Lindell 2 mins away. Now my daughter is doing well. Great managers spend time to explain their billing system. Answer email within the day or next just lovely bunch of people. Do your research before using this nursery be careful i had the most difficult time dealing with them. I find them incredibly rude and when you are spending so much money you need a good bunch of people to look after your child and help you during the process. It is outrageous that when there are so many nursery out there you should put up with managers hanging up the phone on you, and not responding to your emails

If I could give this nursery a 0 I would!! Worse nursery I’ve ever come across and I’m glad I can now add reviews because you couldn’t before (which I found concerning)! Any way , my first son attended this nursery and things went well in the beginning until one day I came to collect my child and he found him in his class room ALONE! Luckily I had another nursery assistant with me who witnessed this and was just as appalled as I was! She immediately went to find the assistant who was supposed to be watching him, another assistant advised she went to change into her gym wear as she was preparing to leave baring in mind the nursery hadn’t closed yet and I was NOT late!

I asked for the manager and was told she had already left, obviously fuming I wanted answers and to report this assistant because how dare you leave my child unattended!! Anything could have happened to him, he could have fallen, bumped into something, hit his head and left unconscious!
They were so rude and unbothered which infuriated me I demanded speaking to someone more superior and was then told to F’off in front of my child not to mention I was heavily pregnant at the time! I removed my child and reported them!
Worse experience ever!! STAY CLEAR!!

Amazing staff and management. I’m very happy we picked this nursery for our son. Great outdoor space with anytime access for all the kids and they do great activities. Thank you Sue, Theresa and all the other staff in the baby room and Maria for doing so well with the management.
