Awful, absolutely awful. My son goes here and he’s in year 7, he’s been bullied by a group of year 8s and he came home crying his eyes out. I contacted the school talking about what they did and they said they’d do something about it which they never did. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone even the people I don’t like.
So where do I start. Putting pupils from year7-11 in isolation with no work to accommodate them (tell you to get work yourself) then give you a detention for something as small as wearing a jumper under a blazer or even chewing gum, the best part was the people there and the laughs most people had, Slt where almost always against pupils, not wanting to help the ones who have challenging behaviours while continuously threatening them with consequences. In all aspects the schools not great but some teachers do make the environment more tolerable however, as a whole they do not understand their children’s mental health and will in no way shape or form try help it
Your kids will not be happy here
They lock them up for days on end over minor infractions and justify it by saying its the school policy
This school is an absolute disgrace and I don’t mean the kids the teachers and staff will not return any of my phone calls regarding my daughter but are happy to try and fine me ive left about 6 messages in 2 days and still no reply i think the next step is the news papers as im sick to death of being ignored
Killed everything I wanted to do with my life if you want your kids to be happy and enjoy learning don’t send them here! Whatever you do.
They don’t care about health just teaching kids to be robots.
