Awful Nursery Director – Shaheen Matloob

My baby has sensitive skin and may have a milk allergy. After the second settling-in session, she used a disrespectful attitude to ask us to provide a GP letter and have an allergy test before my baby could join the full-day nursery.

When I called to discuss the details, she questioned why my 7-month-old baby had only tried seven types of food, suggesting that he should be consuming many more by his age. As a mother, I found this comment both insensitive and disrespectful. My baby has sensitive skin and needs more time to try new foods safely. Her suggestion that I should introduce a wide variety of foods in a short period, coupled with her dismissive and blaming attitude, was highly inappropriate. Every time I try to communicate with her, she constantly interrupts my conversation. Her approach has shaken my confidence in her ability to lead this nursery in a knowledgeable and professional manner. She keeps using a blaming attitude and questioning my way of taking care of my baby.

Please think carefully before letting your baby attend Busybee Wakefield, especially if your baby has sensitive skin.

Amazing nursery. My son has been attending for 3 years and he loves coming. The staff are all amazing always happy and very polite. My son’s development is amazing and people comment on how clever he is and I put that down to busy bees wakefield.
Since my daughter joined in May 2023, she has developed so much, both her confidence and speech. The teachers are so kind, passionate and helpful, it’s wonderful to know your child is looked after very well and always happy to attend. I recommend this Nursery 100%.
My daughter has been going she was 9 months old she this year will be leaving for school. From the moment we first visited it the nursery has a very warm welcome to it. The staff are all so lovely and are so supportive with all changes like moving rooms and now leaving for school. Thank you to each and every one of you x
I did a lot of research before choosing my sons nursery and 1 year later I do not regret choosing Busy Bees Wakefield! I recently had a mishap outside the nursery where my child got locked inside the car and all the staff came out to entertain and distract him whilst we waited for the fire truck.
Special thanks to Natalie, Gemma, Edith, and all others who stood out waiting with me after working hours. Don’t know what I would have done without you. Reinforces my confidence on leaving my boy here.
