This is such a lovely nursery, both my children went here for around 4 years each and they bonded so well with the staff. It’s like a little family. The learning activities they do are really creative and the children really get immersed in the Spanish language. Both my children have finished La Casita and been more than ready to start big school.
A wonderful, bilingual nursery with very warm and professional staff. My two year old twins have been thriving since attending this year. Their Spanish skills are developing quickly and they are always excited to attend and play with friends. It has allowed them to learn and grow as individual children concentrating on their own interests and needs whilst maintaining their twin bond. I always feel completely at ease when they are there, the communication is excellent. It’s always so lovely to see them come home so happy and excited about their day!
La casita has become more like a second home for my son. The staff take every child’s individual needs and make sure they are met. They are genuinely friendly, kind and caring which is a rare find in nursery schools. My son has thrived being in this homely environment and can confidently speak a range of Spanish words and phrases.
Our daughter was at La Casita for two years before starting school and we couldn’t have been happier with it – she absolutely thrived there. The staff are all fantastic, really caring – and the fact that it is such a small nursery means they are brilliant at meeting the individual needs of each child. Each day is filled with fun, creative ways of learning with a really nice balance between free play and guided play/learning. We are not a bilingual family, but we wanted to give our daughter the opportunity to gain real fluency in a second language and she loved it. We chose La Casita because of the added bonus of learning a second language, however I now realize that I would choose it even if it wasn’t bilingual, simply because my daughter loved it there and I know they have the best interests of every child at heart.
La Casita is such a wonderful bilingual nursery. Our son joined for 3 months after we found out we were moving to Spain where he would be starting school all in Spanish and we were worried about it being a shock. They took him in very quickly, accelerated the settling period so he could get the most of it, they’ve been so welcoming and fun. After 1 month of going twice a week, he started saying words and singing songs in Spanish at home! Muchas gracias La Casita 🙂
