Rubbish, noone cares about mental health, they care more about a tie missing than a student being bullied all the time. The only decent thing about this school is the English teachers, specifically miss Morris and miss Evans. They are the only 2 teachers that actually care about their students.
Absolutely awful school to put it mildly. Behavior is terrible and leadership is both weak and not experienced. It’s a shame for all the kids who do want to better themselves. Really hope there is a change of leadership soon which will create a positive change in the culture, at the moment the kids rule with impunity.
This is the most toxic environment i have ever had the misfortune of going to . This place genuinely only cares about sports and grades. The leadership team say and act like they care but really they are fobbing you off and could not care less. It is far too crowded and unorganised . The teachers are terrible. The language faculty in particular is awful. It is very stressful. 0 stars is too much. Parents please please do not send your kids here!!!
awful school, corridors are chaos the carpet has not been changed since the day it opened. there is no support for anyone struggling, its just test after test. this place is toxic and horrendous. the only good at this hell of a school is the English teachers and even they don’t like the school
It’s only results that matter to them. They have no regard for were you want to be in the future and the gcse pathways are not tailored to ur needs. If ur in the bottom u cannot move up but if ur at the top I can move down. My maths was so mixed we had ppl working at a band 3 and others working at a band 7. The teachers are grate but leadership need some serious help. Their results is all that matter and there is so much litter everywhere. They pride them selves on being the best. On paper yer but u just need to be there to know how ppl rly think. Also there is no communication between leadership and other members of staff making meetings and extra help and support difficult to those who need it. They don’t give anyone a choice in we’re they want to be to get to the future they desire quicker. This isn’t the school for me. As well as all this, they practically take all ur choices. Ppl in top bands say to me that they would be better be doing citizenship than RE and RE than citizenship.
Another reason being that when they did the pathways for my year grupe we had an assembly the ppl in the bottom bath way was split up as there pathway was the most different , it only had one option out of four. After speaking to another school I was told that not giving somebody an option to a language was against their right to learn. The school has no respect for their students as much as the students have for the staff
