We can’t rate kids 1st high enough. We’ve loved our time here. The staff are excellent. So welcoming, friendly and supportive. The nursery has a high standard of cleanliness and food choices. I love the app so I can see what my little boy is eating / doing each day. There’s always a range of activities and we’ve noticed a huge change in our little boys confidence since coming here. He learns so much, and loves coming in. For us seeing how much he enjoys it has been the biggest thing. We would highly recommend this nursery.

Our experience has been all positive and have recommended others. The opportunities offered to our child has helped to build confidence. She adores the staff and talks about them fondly all of the time.

All the staff are lovely, the place is clean, my son loves going, and there’s always outdoor access.

My daughter attended kids first, it seemed alright at first but I came to realize that their main priority was not the children and was in fact MONEY. I’d been paying for my daughter’s dinners every day, to then be told I was “under paying” even though I paid PS4 a day for 1 meal, so I was told to pay more. I usually paid this in cash and was then told I hadn’t paid for certain weeks when I knew I had. Also when I lost my job I paid up the full amount of time my little one was in nursery but told them from the Monday the following week my little one would only be able to do the free hours. I was then sent a bill of nearly PS800 and told I had to pay up the rest of the month even if she wasn’t going to be using them hours. Who would try charge a single mother who has just lost their job that kind of money? I decided to move her nursery since they talked down to me, I also paid money for school photos which I never received. Even after explaining my circumstances about loosing my job they threatened me with court, and told me it isn’t a pay as you go service and I had to pay for the rest of the hours for that month which made no sense to me. About a week after I took my little one out of this nursery they rang back asking for her to come back, telling me I’d never find a nursery that would allow me to “pay as I go” but I had in fact found somewhere. Barnes little learners were so much better, when I explained the situation with kids first they were shocked and disgusted.

Our child has loved growing up at Kids 1st. They receive nothing but care, attention, encouragement and a fantastic education. The team are wonderful, the food varied and nutritious, and the facilities are amazing.
