I am a student of this school, this school is absolutely terrible, i know people in this school who sit and cry every lesson yet not one teacher cares, i see students being bullied to the max getting stuff thrown all over them and even more and nothing gets done except isolation for a day, to add to that how the hell does jewellery, hair colour, tight trousers and ANKLES SHOWING cause a distraction. This school is the reason most children are becoming more and more mentally tired and not even wanting to be alive anymore this school is a place no one wants to be unless the teachers actually like like them and are nice to them. They say ‘ we say no to bulling ‘ ‘ we will help with you mental health’ when in fact this is all lies upon lies and it’s to the point children of this academy are wanting to end their lives and teachers do not care they only care about you getting good grades to keep the DRET and government happy.
My daughter was so looking forward to starting secondary school until she came here, the love for school has been beaten out of her she being bullied and all the school say is what do u want us to do! They get detentions for dropping pens on floors etc wouldn’t recommend in the slightest
I went to this school from year 7 until the end of year 9. I hated school at the time and it’s only now, since i have left and moved to a better school, that I realised it wasn’t school in general I hated, It was Havelock. They treat everyone the same and only praise the people who work wonders. The rules that they have in place are just stupid and they worry more about how children look/dress than there actual grades! I will not deny they have some really nice/caring teachers who do try to help you as much as they can, but the amount of supply teachers I had while I was here was just awful and this stopped me from reaching my goals. I would not send your children here unless you do not care about them because there are school in the area which will have a much greater impact on your child!
Bad lol, teachings bad. Hair had to be a certain length to be ‘acceptable’. What a joke. The punishments was given out to frequently and for no reason at all. Bullying was out of the roof, did nothing about it all. The oncall system was used frequenty aswell and yet again for no reason at all. Would not recommend. Dont send your children here as they won’t enjoy being at this school. school
This is a unique restaurant. Has a serious dress code but dont let that get you down because there is free food before 8am. Unfortunately the red lobster is far too expensive for the quality. Would go again just have to wait for my hair to grow to the acceptable length. Lots of kids for some reason maybe the police should look into it. Would recommend to all my fellow kids
