WORST COLLEGE EVER,

I faced serious problems during my placement, and when I informed my lecturer, she completely abandoned her duty to support me. They blatantly ignored the proper method of evaluation.

When I sought assistance from the nursing council for another opportunity, she maliciously submitted falsified documents to the council. In contrast, I provided accurate documents with substantial evidence. I received a determination letter from the council stating there is no evidence to support that my CAP was unsuccessful.

If they had given even a shred of support, I would have been able to practice there. These people are solely focused on exploiting students; they lack standards, values, and integrity. Running this college is worse than committing robbery because they ruin lives under the guise of education. They are blatantly racist, judging people based on their skin tone.

A good teacher should be a mentor and guide. In my case, they were nothing but accusatory and vindictive, unceremoniously expelling me from the placement.

Can I ask one question: If they cannot provide any guidance, then why are they in this position?

I am determined to file a legal complaint against this disgraceful institution.

My experience at UCOL was great, I did the pre-trade course in carpentry and got a good range of skills that I am still using a lot today! Lots of opportunity to use power-tools and lots of hands on learning experience. The peer group is always a bit of a mixed bag but they can’t change that! Overall a great experience, still using some of the tools I got on this course as well.
Wonderful free computer tutorials! Relevant education for people of all ages! Ignore ill-natured comments that it’s for kids too naughty to get university entrance! Great city centre location! Many of my friends have wonderful memories studying there!
Everything about it including the very lovely people and friendships that came out of going there. Overall a really great place of learning new skills and getting to meet new unique people. I love everything about the experience.
If you wanna do Nursing Pick Massey instead. UCOL Lecturers don’t seem to put students first and are super unorganized. They will tell you to do something one day and the next, rip into you for doing exactly what they said. Lecturers also threaten their students saying they will make sure they will never get a job, even doe the student hasn’t done anything wrong. Save your self the hassle and go with Massey.
