From their exceptional care and nurturing environment to their Forest school, Green Cave Nursery is a haven for little explorers. The staff members are compassionate and go above and beyond to ensure each child feels safe, secure, and loved.

One of the standout features of the nursery is its forest school program. As a nature enthusiast, I was thrilled to see their emphasis on outdoor learning and exploration. The nursery has a beautiful woodland area where children can immerse themselves in nature, learn about the environment, and develop a deep appreciation for the world around them. We are very grateful for everything The Green Cave Nursery has offered our child for the last few years!

1. Charlie has been lovely, understanding and supportive, helping my daughter to settle and make friends. She would always say how proud she was as my daughter confidence grew and she began to do new things.

2. Green Cave ensure the children go outside to play at the local parks. They also go to the local shopping centre to go on the rides, soft play, and do baby yoga. My daughter loved being able to play on the swings most days and learn at forest school.

3. Since being at Green Cave I can see a real difference in my daughters’ independence and development. The baby led play allowed her to explore the environment and join in at her own pace.

4. The food is nutritious and varied, with lots of fruits and veggies. My daughter loves food so it is great that she has been able to try lots of new foods and has begun to eat things she wouldn’t at home.

5. The app is very good and allows you to communicate with the staff, I can send emails (although response to these can be a little slow) or add notes onto the daily diary. I loved the observations and all the photo’s that would be sent from Charlie and reading about what my daughter had done that day.

I would like to say thank you and iterate how amazing Charlie has been with my daughter, she is an asset to the nursery, and I wish her well in her career.

Our son has been at Green Cave for a year, from the age of 3 to 4. Green Cave have done a fantastic job of developing his social skills with other children and adults, which had been lacking due to his previous years being affected by Covid isolation. My son looks forward to nursery every day and comes home excited to tell us about the variety of activities he has done. His favourites are the forest school with Sophia and weekly yoga sessions. We are hugely grateful for the support Green cave have given our family and feel our son is now well prepared for his move into primary school.

Was worried about his settling changing from childminder to the nursery but it turned out I was over thinking! The staff gave great care of him as I can see him going there happily ever time I drop him off. He seems to develop great bounding as well with his main carers, which is really sweet to see.

I also love the outdoors learning activities Green cave provides to the kids. I can see loads of fun indoor activities as well on the app (thanks to those help capturing those precious moments!)

All in all, we are really pleased with Green cave! Thanks to those who work hard to provide fun learning environment to the kids!

My son has come along very far in his development since being at this nursery. There are always plenty of things for the children to do and they are taken out twice a day. Trips outside include visits to the park, the local soft play, visiting the local shops and trips to the local forest where they have Forest school which my son loves and gives the children the opportunity to learn and explore nature. I am always kept up to date on what he has been up to in the day and the staff are very caring and friendly. Overall I am very pleased with my son going to this nursery.
