Our children commenced at St Anne’s in 2023 and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of schools. I have told friends that finding St Anne’s was like striking gold. The small size of the school means that all of the staff and students know each other. Nothing is missed in the playground and the staff and children already know each other as they progress through each year of school.

I was concerned there might be a lack of opportunity for my children in a smaller school but the reality is that there are more opportunities to participate than what was ever available at a prior school.

You couldn’t find a more caring and dedicated Principal than Greg. We approached the school expressing some needs and we were met with solutions and a willingness to go over and above and a real “how can we” approach to support.

If you’re looking for a school to nurture and support your child without compromising their academics then St Anne’s needs to be on your radar.

We were recommended to attend a St Anne’s Open Day and loved touring the school – great to see such dedicated teachers and proud students – but must admit, we were a little reluctant at first with the small size of the school.

Thank goodness we researched beyond the numbers and listened to our instincts – we ended up enrolling both children who are incredibly supported, nurtured and educated by genuinely enthusiastic, intelligent and caring teachers.

The small size that we were once concerned about? Turns out this is a huge asset. Small enough to feel like a country school with its welcoming community, yet the perfect size to deliver targeted learning which is evident in the schools outstanding NAPLAN results – surpassing many larger schools in Boroondara.

What an Amazing school!! My son moved here at the end of 2021 and is now in year 2. The school has been so good for him. He has gone from a child that hated school and learning to one that can’t get enough of school. The teachers are so good at looking at the individual child and helping them achieve their goals and looking after the whole well-being of the child.
From the moment we stared at St Anne’s we have felt welcomed and supported, I can’t praise this school enough

A school where the most amazing teachers work, and a principal that is simply the best! A place where your child is known, respected, cared for and educated to be the best they can be. A very special school, that truly is so unique.
