When we first considered this school for my daughter we weren’t 100% sure but years on we are so grateful we did. She’s been in the top 5% of the state for her final year of school and I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while now and only got the chance now that she has graduated and we have more time on our hands! Look no further for schooling than PLC! Thank you so much guys.
When I was starting to consider a high school for my daughter, I was first attracted by PLC’s unique IB course. PLC is the only girls’ school in Perth to provide IB courses which are very helpful for overseas university applications and sharpen the children’s research skills. But also, at that moment, I felt it was hard to choose the best suitable one from a few girls’ schools because academics were not the only thing I was concerned about. However, as time passed, I was greatly impressed by PLC: the efficient communication, the excellent care for every unique girl, and the genuine sense of community. Compared to other girls’ schools, I feel PLC is the one that can see you, think for you and help you bring out the best. No matter who you are, poor or rich, quiet or loud, you have your chance to bloom and your time to shine with the support of PLC staff. We are all delighted with being part of PLC.
As a staff member for nearly 10 years I can highly recommend PLC Perth to you. The teaching staff are exceptional always going the extra mile for the students. The students and staff have a mutual respect for each other which makes for a wonderful environment. The school grounds are beautiful which makes going to school each day a lovely experience. The parent community is involved and works with the staff for the best outcomes for the students. Being a firm advocate for the IB style of teaching and learning I can endorse PLC Perth as a school with this at the forefront of everything they do. I realise that all schools offer different things and families are all looking for different things so I encourage you to visit either in person or virtually to see whether PLC Perth is the right fit for your student.
