While every teacher in the building may be great and exactly what you’d want for your child, sadly the horrible unprofessionalism of the director here shadows any good this place offers. If you want your child bitten weekly or for you to be harassed by the director at pick up and drop off, this is a great place for that. They will send home slip after slip of “accidents” that you’re supposed to just sign and accept. I have never felt so uncomfortable leaving my son in a daycare facility than I do here, and it is all surrounding the poor actions taken by the director. I, like many families I’m sure, have no other option right now because of waiting lists, so sadly I have to deal with this until then. You don’t, so I wouldn’t. Find another daycare that cares from the top down, not just the teachers. The teachers are wonderful, my son loves them. The director is horrible, and I can’t stress that enough, just a bully looking to make it harder for everyone. And her attitude is what I assume the corporate attitude of La Petite is. And for that, I would avoid the daycare chain all together.
This place is horrible. Over crowded, noisy and the director is awful. My children hated going here and would cry when I dropped them off. The environment was very stressful for them. There are way to many kids stuffed into this small establishment. Their idea of potty training is to have the kids sit on a potty chair in the same room they are in all day and go to the bathroom Infront of all the other children. I came to pick my two up at the end of the day and the staff in the infant room were rude and snappy. One of the babies was sleeping sitting up in the highchair. My son had been bitten at least twice which I talked to the director about. Then not even a week later she said my son just walked up and bit another child for no reason…. He hasn’t bit anyone at home so this seemed a little weird. When I asked the director to see the video tape of this happening she refused and said I could no longer being my son there. Which was fine because I was actually taking him out of there anyway. Think twice about taking your children there….
La Petite Academy has by far exceeded my familys expectations. My son has had nothing but a positive learning experience, and social interactions. Everyone communicates well and often, and you never have to worry about fair treatment or cleanliness at the facility. Ms.Sunny is one of the best 3-5 year old teachers we have ever come across and she has left a lasting impact on my entire family. This center works as a team, even through the tough COVID crisis, and they put the children first always! The teacher to student ratio and small center size is also a plus, that you will see makes a difference in the quality of your childs education. They allow kids to explore, but also learn during structured activities. Affordability, and location hours is also a huge incentive of this location. Overall, we would recommend this facility 10 times over, and if we werent moving, we would absolutely remain enrolled. Awesome job Ms. Cindy, Ms. Sunny, Ms. Patty, Ms. Kim, Ms. Yuki, Ms. Rhonda, Ms. Tina and Ms. Nicole
