My daughter has loved her time at Hillcrest so far! Great school with innovative sustainability and ICT programs. I’ve been involved with the community, parents and staff over the 7 years my child has attended and I have always found people to be supportive and open-minded. Great school!
A lovely little school with great staff. They are really focused on teaching kids kind respectful behaviour, care for the environment and community. The school is also well resourced and conveniently located. Plus it has amazing city views so it’s a great spot for young families on fireworks night!
8 happy years we’ve been at this school now and so incredibly grateful to the amazing teachers who all go above and beyond. Along with beautiful grounds, up-to-date technology, a commitment to sustainability and diversity, the school community spirit really shines through particularly in times of need. The current principal, Ms Ford, has really helped grow the school over the past few years into what it is today.
I went to this school a long time ago, and now im in uni. This school is probably one of the best public schools parents can afford their kids to go to school at. Obviously it has met a lot of upgrades and such and probably most of the staff would be replaced with new ones, but even so, it made a deep mark in my development into who i am today. Thanks Hillcrest.
This is absolutely the most horrible and disgraceful school I have ever had to encounter with. The racism that runs this school is absolutely outrages, my child does not belong in a discriminating environment and no child should be put in a position to feel that way. The principle (liz ford) carries unprofessionalism throughout every aspect of the school and does not attend to her duty of care towards the children nor does she have any kind of patience and respect towards the parents. A school is supposed to empower children with diversity and allow them to express themselves, I cannot express how much Hillcrest primary school has limited my child of expressing their emotions with them shutting it down or brushing it off. I wouldn’t recommend any child to be enrolled at Hillcrest until majority or staff are retrained and investigated.
