We have two boys at Iona Prep, and we LOVE it! The school is dedicated to educating the boys to become Catholic men: they are committed to prayer, service, and academics. The many opportunities include great clubs and athletics. The teachers are dedicated, and many have been there a long time, so there is not the turnover that sometimes plagues private schools. Our boys are extremely happy, have made many friends (although they knew almost no one at the start of ninth grade), and are working hard in a great environment.
This school is a joke. The amount of drugs and smoking present is absolutely ridiculous. The only thing this school seems to care about is money.
No better than the area public schools. Went there for a year two decades ago.
