Carlmont Parents Nursery School (CPNS) is a place where teachers truly work with the parents for the developmental needs of the child.
I was initially skeptical of CPNS because we were enrolled in another school (T-TH), which seemed more structured and organized. But I came to find out what mattered most was a school’s attitude and approach to the child when the child is in need.
My son has separation anxiety and aggressive behavior due to the introduction of a new sibling. CPNS, as a collectively community has been working with us through all of his phases/issues. CPNS teachers go out of their way to guide the kids and work with parents. They inform us of our son’s behavior, they reassure us whether it’s normal for his age/development stage and they provide suggestions on how we should be dealing with it at home as well.
We eventually withdrew from the T-TH school because their approach was to simply call us back and had us shadow him throughout the entire class time. They had no suggestion/feedback other than for us to monitor him during class time so he’s not acting out against other kids.
We are grateful to have found a school where teachers, management and other parents are willing to work collectively with us through any issues.
