This is the best school we have ever been to. My kids are SO happy going to school everyday and they are so excited to learn all of the amazing things they have access to at this school that we had only dreamed about before finding Centner. Abstract art, gardening, bake no bake, and the entrepreneurial program gets them SO excited!! My kids are noticing business ideas in our everyday life 🙂 We recently moved to a new building and my girls wanted to go to the gym and run on the treadmill and the security came to tell us that kids are not allowed. My 7 year old responded “you know how Ms. Leila was looking for a school for her kids and didn’t find one that she liked, so she created one? Well I think we should create a gym for kids” ???? and these convos happen ALL THE TIME now ?? The change in mindset is mind-blowing and affects everything! They know how to breathe and soothe themselves (or “hold on to their Zen”) They work to resolve conflicts and communicate their feelings and their needs.

We were not expecting to find this gem of a school when we moved from NYC to Miami a few years ago. Our child was a toddler when she started here and she is consistently happy and stimulated. She is safe, loved and respected and absolutely adores being at school. It gives us great peace of mind to witness her thriving and we are so grateful for this vibrant community and well rounded educational experience. Of course robust academics are imperative, but this school goes much further as it recognizes the “whole” child, from very specific food choices (organic, sugar and gluten-free, much of it sourced from the school’s own impressive farm), to a mindfulness practice, to entrepreneurship lessons and opportunities. We also love the language programs on offer and they reflect the international nature of the student and staff body.
