It’s a very bad experience for me and my daughter. I sent my daughter to this school for about 6 weeks and there are 2 times my daughter sleep on the floor. The first time, my daughter slept on the floor for about 5 minutes and teacher did not know until another teacher came in to take the lunch troller away. The second time she fell asleep with her face facing down on the floor and teacher just let her lay down there without coming close to check to see if she is ok. The director even claimed that the teacher needs to finish the story for other kids first before teacher can check my daughter. I don’t know which guideline they base on to evaluate which things more important to deal first. A child laying on the floor with face facing down for 9 minutes is less important than finishing story for other kids. First the floor is not clean, second, teachers don’t put safety of children in the first priority. They think finishing the story is more important than checking my child to make sure she is ok. It is just not acceptable at all. Additionally, when we see some actions on the camera that we think are not right. We talk to the school and request to view the camera again together. However, they refused. They can’t view the camera with parents. They viewed it themself and said everything looks good, no action is wrong with no proof at all. Just their words. Totally a bad experience for us. Will never recommend this school to any of my friend and family.
At first very pleased… But when he turns 10 months he started to go to the toddler room which is a month early..but they claimed he enjoyed it there… Problems started when he moved there full-time.. he’s still a 2 nap a day baby and he wasn’t getting the sleep in needed. Not sure why they wouldn’t put him back in the infant room to get his sleep.. it’s a licening rule that if a baby needs or wants to sleep you can’t deny them.. he was so tired when my daughter picked him up he went to sleep before she even got him home.. so she had no mama and baby time in the evening at all..: ( worst thing was when he was bit at least 4 times in one day and no report to my daughter.. it wasn’t until we called corporate and licensing that they wrote up a report.. when my daughter went back the next day and showed the assistant director what happened she was on the phone with the director at the time and told my daughter they’d look into it.. no one got back to my daughter until I called corporate!! Very unhappy with them…
Our daughter has been attending La Petite on Mukilteo Speedway since she was 6 months old, and she is now a year old. We have been so pleased with the care and education they give her. Her teachers are caring, intelligent, and very good with kids. She is always excited and happy to be dropped off, and when we come to pick her up, she is full of smiles and laughter. It means the world to me to know that she is happy there. The enrichment activities they do with the kids are great; even though she is only one year old I feel as though she has learned so much. They do art and music projects all the time, and are exposed to different games and learning topics. The lunches and snacks the daycare provides are nutritious and varied. At La Petite, I feel as though my daughter gets the care and attention she needs and deserves. I wouldn’t want her to spend her time at any other center.
