Gym teachers really push you to go over your limit (sometimes in a good way, other times in a bad way) If you tell them “hey, i cant do this. Im injured” they will say “Try your best” And even if you try your best, they tell you to go faster. Aside from the gym teachers, the other teachers are great. There are many teacher that are there to talk when you need them. Whether it be a personal problem (bullying or other) or help with homework, mostly all the teachers are there to talk. Staff does not do much about bullying. They may just talk to the victim but that is pretty much it. No effort made to stop it. But either way, bullying has not been a recent problem in CMS.
There is always a staff member that you can go to when it comes to serious personal problems (self harm, depression, etc) But help doesn’t come as soon as you would hope. Office ladies can definetly be…harsh. Nurse is wonderful.
Students are kept outside in cold weather. Unless you are VIP, you are expected to stay outside until 7:41am.
And for the most important thing in a students 7 hour school day, LUNCH.
Lunch ladies will be a hassle if they are not in a good mood. And like other reviews have said, we truly do not get enough food when it comes to the main meal. There are sides (kale, an apple, fruit cocktail, applesauce) but please tell me the name of 1 Middle school student that enjoys that stuff. If you are planning on eating lunch, bring your own food.
